UCSF strongly recommends that all guests attending in-person special events at UCSF are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters, if eligible. COVID-19 vaccines remain the best public health measure to protect people from the virus, slow transmission, and reduce the likelihood of new variants emerging.
UCSF adheres to the San Francisco Department of Public Health COVID-19 health requirements, and in some instances, our requirements are more stringent given our role as a health care, research, and academic enterprise.
UCSF cannot guarantee that all guests and employees at an event are fully vaccinated. No precautions can entirely eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
