Join UCSF alumni and friends at a special screening of Invisible Corps, a documentary about the Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service (USPHS) who are the unsung heroes at the front lines of public health. You’ll learn how the USPHS Commissioned Corps affects the lives of Americans in our most underserved communities, from ensuring safe drinking water to eradicating diseases, and participate in a discussion with distinguished UCSF alumni and the filmmaker.

Dr. Schweitzer is known for combining her expertise in public health policy with her dedication to serving underrepresented communities. Over her four-year term in the USPHS, she worked to modernize Medicaid eligibility and enrollment, improve drug pricing, and implement inclusive policies.
